Ownership

Domains I obtain for my clients are always registered in their own name or their company's name as the listed legal owner, with myself as the administrative, technical and billing contact. In this way you have the security of knowing your domain name is safe and secure. While I am overseeing your account, you are ensured that renewals and billing will be handled.

Payment

Larger projects such as websites and website redesigns require a retainer of a minimum of half down to start work with full final payment due upon completion, unless we've agreed on other arrangements. prior to my commencing work.

Full payment up front is required for marketing projects and seo evaluations; graphics, animation, layout and similar projects, unless we've agreed on other arrangements prior to my commencing work.

Transfers/Cancellations

If circumstances change and you no longer need a website or decide to move your website or hosting elsewhere, you are free to do so. There may be a reasonable fee incurred as follows: Terminate site and hosting: no charge; Move domain, website and/or hosting: Transfer fee incurred.

For graphics, animation, layout work and the like, you will receive a high-resolution copy of the output file to keep for your use. I retain any work product files.

For website designs, once completed, all the online files necessary to properly display your site are yours. I retain any work product files.

Pricing

Costs of a project, by necessity, must be quoted on a custom basis relative to the work requested.  After we have discussed what you want, then a projected price can be determined. 

Projects are quoted at a flat rate or an hourly rate of $50.00/hr. 

Web Design Projects

Website pricing covers a broad range from $750 - $2500 for an average 5-15 page website. E-Commerce sites can add more. The range is broad because each client has a unique need and objective for a website. Once I find out more about your project, I can narrow down the cost estimate for you. Clients are often initially unclear how to proceed and what to include, and the project comes into focus as the process unfolds. The good news is that websites are fluid and can accommodate new ideas and more content as the need arises. You may also decide to have your website tailored to fit within a certain budget and add to it over time, so that's another possibility. 

WEBSITE DESIGN COSTS

Website and website redesign costs range widely depending upon the scope of the work.  These components factor into the cost estimate:

• Number of pages
• Numbers of photos and artwork
• Digital prep for the photos and art
• Customized logo if required
• Whether setting up domains and/or hosting
• Whether an e-commerce (merchandise) site
• Amount of consultations needed (in person/phone/email)
• Editing and writing required

BASIC "WEBSITE LITE" PRICING STARTS AT $375.00

This offer is perfect for the small business owner or individual who knows the importance of a professional website presence but is not ready for all the 'bells and whistles' available. I will make the entire process fun and easy for you while giving you a good bargain that fits your budget. Today's customers expect you to have a website, so don't disappoint them.  Additional pages, pictures and more can always be added over time.

DOMAIN AND HOSTING COSTS

The service of obtaining and registering a domain in your legal name costs are $20.00 a domain name with a handling fee of $35.00. If you already have a domain that must be transfered, there is a $35.00 handling fee.

Hosting fees (to cover the costs of the 'real estate on the internet' are $15.00 a month. There is an annual administration fee which covers my administrative time and services involved for billing and managing the account, overseeing renewals, basic email communication, and related tasks.
